CurrentDesk Closes Funding Round, Turns Focus to Client On-Boarding
Necessitated by strong and growing client demand for its products, CurrentDesk, a leader in brokerage management and trading operations software, has completed its first funding round, taking an undisclosed amount of growth capital from unnamed private sources. The capital will support the company’s focus on timely client on-boarding, as well as ongoing product development and integration of technology partners.
CurrentDesk remains well-positioned at the center of a multi-year trend of fragmentation in the online brokerage space. With multiple new brokerages launching each month, operators demand cutting-edge, independent software solutions that support growth and automation. Travis Dahm, co-founder and Director of Business Development, noted, “We are excited that investors have recognized the potential that we and our clients see – as well as the need for modern software solutions to brokerage operations.” An investor added, “We see strong global demand for software tools that support automation of brokerage functions. CurrentDesk is ideally positioned to capitalize on that demand.”
Berkshire Capital, a leading global boutique investment bank, advised CurrentDesk on the transaction. Multiple individuals from Shift Forex, an industry consultancy, also serve as registered representatives of Berkshire Capital, and were involved in the transaction. While CurrentDesk has no plans for additional funding rounds, the company remains open to discussions with strategic partners and investors.
CurrentDesk develops innovative software solutions to support brokerage and trading operations. The company’s founders have leveraged their diverse operational and technical expertise to build software solutions that address the challenges brokers face on a daily basis. CurrentDesk designs its solutions tactically to reduce workloads, streamline processes, and increase efficiency. CurrentRisk, the company’s real-time reconciliation tool and exposure warning system, is used by multiple leaders in the online trading industry. CurrentBusiness, the firm’s integrated back office and CRM solution, has been deployed by several brokers and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback as an innovative and functional tool. Both CurrentRisk and CurrentBusiness are platform-independent, providing clients with complete flexibility and eliminating service and software restrictions. As the industry evolves, CurrentDesk will continue to innovate to meet the industry’s changing needs.
